What we collect (and what we don't)
Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data when you use the Unicode to Krutidev converter, the how-it-works page, and the Kruti Dev font guide on this site.
The Text You Convert Never Leaves Your Browser
The conversion tool on the homepage runs entirely as JavaScript inside your own web browser. When you type or paste text into either box, the conversion (in both directions, Unicode to Krutidev and Krutidev to Unicode) happens locally on your device. Nothing you type is sent to this site's servers, logged, stored in a database, or seen by anyone operating this site. This matters here specifically because a lot of what people convert with this kind of tool, court filings, official government notices, personal correspondence, is sensitive, and it should never need to touch a third-party server to get converted.
One Optional Local-Only Save
To make the tool convenient to return to, your browser's own local storage (a standard browser feature, not a server) may save the last text you typed and which direction you had selected, so it is still there if you refresh the page or come back later. This save happens only on your own device, in your own browser, is never transmitted anywhere, and can be cleared at any time by clicking the "Clear" button in the tool or by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.
Anonymous Feedback Widget
If you use the "Give feedback" control on this site, your message is sent so we can read and act on it. It is sent anonymously: we do not collect your email address, IP address, device identifiers, or account information alongside it. It is used only to improve the tool, never to build a profile of who sent it, and never shared with a third party.
Basic, Cookie-Free Site Analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand approximate visit volume and which pages are used, so we know the tool is actually working for people. This analytics method does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not build an individual profile of you. It reports aggregate numbers only (for example, "how many visits this page got today"), never anything tied to what you typed into the converter.
No Accounts, No Ads That Track You, No Data Sales
There is no account system, no login, and no user profile on this site. We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising or any other purpose, and we do not run tracking-based advertising on this site.
Data Retention
Because conversion happens entirely in your browser, there is nothing for this site to retain in the first place. No server-side record of the text you convert is ever created, so there is no retention period to describe for that data, it simply never exists outside your own device. The one local-only save described above lives entirely in your browser's storage and stays there until you clear it yourself or clear your browser's site data; this site has no way to read, retrieve, or delete it remotely, since it never leaves your device.
Children's Privacy
This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, for the same reason described throughout this policy: there is no account system and no server-side collection of the text you type. The site is a general-purpose text-conversion utility and is not specifically directed at children.
Third-Party Services This Site Uses
Aside from the cookie-free analytics described above, this site is served by Cloudflare's infrastructure (which processes standard, routine web traffic data like any hosting provider, as described in Cloudflare's own privacy policy) and does not load any other third-party trackers, advertising scripts, or embedded widgets that would collect your data.
Contact
Questions about this privacy policy or how this site handles data can be sent using the "Give feedback" link shown next to the converter tool on the homepage.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page. Since the core design of this tool, doing all conversion locally in your browser with no server-side text processing, is fundamental to how it works, we do not expect that to change. If a genuinely new feature ever required a different data-handling approach, this page would be updated first, before that feature went live, not after.
